Surrounded by beautiful scenery, Longnor Wood is the perfect location to bring your trailer tent for a camping holiday.
At Longnor Wood we welcome motorhomes, touring caravans, campervans across our range of hardstanding pitches. Our caravan sites is open all year round, so if you are looking for a getaway in the Peak District then Longnor Wood Holiday Park is the place for you. We are an ideal campsite for an Autumn or Winter camping break. Please note we close between 3rd January and 2nd February. We are perfect for Christmas camping, being one of the few Peak District campsites open at Christmas and over New Year.
Longnor Wood campsite is exclusively for adults and all guests and their visitors must be over 18 years of age. Our pitches include
- 9 all-weather hard-standing pitches (8m x 5m) which are fully serviced with 10amp electric, grey waste drainage and fresh water supply – suitable for awning
- 11 all-weather hard-standing large (7.5m x 5m) pitches with 10amp electric - suitable for awning
- 23 seasonal pitches, of which 18 are fully serviced
- 4 all-weather tent pitches (4m x 5m) tent pitches with 10amp electric; please note measurements include guy ropes

Longnor Wood is an ideal campsite near Chatsworth House. Our gorgeous adults only UK holiday park is just 20 minutes’ drive from both Buxton and Bakewell and 15 miles from the Chatsworth House and Estate. Exclusively for adults and a member of Tranquil Parks you can be assured of a relaxing and peaceful break when staying at our campsite in Buxton.
