All rubbish is put in the green bins and your recycling goes into the grey bins. Maintenance – To keep the park looking great, we have several tasks that need to be completed. Some activities require the use of machinery which can be noisy. We try to keep this activity between 10am and 4pm for minimal disruption, and use electric over engine, but this is not always possible. We will try and keep your stay as peaceful as possible, but hope you can understand the need for essential works.
Wi-Fi – The site has good 4G coverage on EE and O2 and free Wi-Fi is available. Please note however that we are located in a rural location and speed may sometimes be an issue. Please respect your fellow guests and do not download videos or large files.
Dogs - We are dog lovers here Longnor Wood, but we must insist that dogs are kept on a lead at all times and are never left unattended so as not to cause a nuisance to other guests. The only exception to being off the lead is on our dog walking field. Please clean up after your dog using the dog waste bins provided. We have a dog wash on site located in the corner of the park. Cleaning charges apply for our dog-friendly accommodation, with dogs welcome on our touring pitches free of charge. There is a maximum of 2 dogs allowed on our tent and touring pitches and in our dog-friendly holiday accommodation (maximum 1 dog only in our dog friendly glamping pod).
BBQs and Firepits - We hire firepits for your stay for touring pitches and tents, perfect for stargazing on those crisp, cold evenings. These can be booked in advance or speak to Reception during opening hours. BBQs may be used by our touring customers, as long as they are off the ground and do not damage the grass. We have gas BBQs to borrow for our accommodation customers, please contact reception. Campfires are not permitted on the site at any time and we do not allow guests to bring their own firepits to site. Due to our tranquil nature and rural location, we do not allow the use of fireworks or Chinese lanterns.
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning - Never take BBQs into your accommodation (including tents, caravans and awnings). A warm BBQ gives off poisonous carbon monoxide which can kill. Water Pressure – On the mornings of busy turn over days (Mondays and Fridays) it is possible there will be a drop in water pressure as we empty and re-fill our hot tubs.
Site Speed Limit - 10MPH is the speed limit for the site. Safety is paramount so please adhere to this.
Noise - Our site is very quiet, so noise does travel, therefore we have a no noise policy between 11pm & 7am. We do pride ourselves on being a Tranquil Park, so please respect your fellow guests and our site wardens. Management reserves the right to refuse entry and the right to ask people to leave at any time.
Gazebos - Due to our high elevation, and the possibility of strong winds, we do not allow gazebos.
