We are proud to operate a portfolio of three AA accredited 5 star touring caravan campsites in the Peak District, Northumberland and Edinburgh. All of these sites are award winning campsites.
Longnor Wood is generally considered to be one of the best campsites in the Peak District, with a choice of camping and touring facilities, hot tub lodges and caravans and glamping pods and additional amenities such as a heated indoor campers kitchen, gym, sauna and games room. AA 5-Star Caravan & Camping 26/27
Longnor Wood continues to maintain the prestigious AA Five Gold St/ar Caravan and Camping award, recognising the site’s high standards and guest-focused approach. During their latest visit, the AA inspector praised the park’s strong management, well-kept grounds and continued investment in the guest experience, including upgraded Wi-Fi, increased 16 amp electric supply and new decking around Jasmine. The on-site shop was also highlighted for its range of local products and everyday essentials.

Longnor Wood was proud to receive the prestigious AA Campsite of the Year Heart of England award for 2024/25. The adults-only site was recognised for its peaceful Peak District location, excellent customer care and high-quality facilities. The AA inspector described the park as “a hidden gem”, praising its tranquil setting, spotless amenities, spacious pitches and recent additions including the gym, sauna and luxury lodges with hot tubs.
