Please feel free to call our Site Managers Sam or Ian Kitchen or James O’Neill or one of our campsite wardens for a chat. Our office is manned daily between 9am and 5pm (closed for lunch between 1pm and 2pm). All our staff live on site or locally and we love to talk about Longnor Wood, Peak District attractions such as Chatsworth House or Haddon Hall, what’s available in the towns of Buxton or Bakewell, walking in the Peak District National Park, cycle routes along the various Peak District trails or where is the best food in our Peak District pubs.  

We are happy to make recommendations about local restaurants, pubs, walks and attractions to ensure that you get the best out of your stay at Longnor Wood. We offer discounted tickets to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. We love dogs so if you are staying in one of our dog friendly lodges with hot tubs we can recommend dog-friendly activities in the Peak District too. Please give us a call before you arrive and we'll help you plan the perfect trip. We can book tables in pubs or restaurants for you if you prefer and can advise on any seasonal opening hours.
